in a moment that I feel that I should play heavier and faster, I'm still caught by rjch melodies, some clean guitar work and the attempt to achieve what gospel music does, only not being so explicit. lyrically, i try to tell objectively to myself to be aware of the facts that I shouldn't be afraid of my dormant desires, however nonsense they may sound, for they're what I've build myself into and etc, and this song goes as another reminder that life may no suck that badly.

Behold the little monsters living down under your bed
they can paralyze you hypnotize you put you in despair
hide them from your family but bring along your friends
for they may no rely your silly words until they all get scared

trust me when I tell you I got nowhere else to stare
for when I close my eyes and cover up it's simply hard to bear
all the things that they keep saying that I just won't understand
they just lie behind my mind and if I ask'm they won't share

so keep em in the darkness
and just hold the door with all your strength
you know you have to fight them but
you'd rather let them go
its not that you don't comprehend
but all the amount of time you spend
in fighting them and breeding them
will only help them grow
til the moment that control is gone

wish that i could make you see it's greater than it seems
though it's something hard to notice unless one is fully in
making sounds and moves and eye contact that could make your heart freeze
creatures of the night,go out of sight and later reapear

if all that has been said and done still couldn't make them leave
well at least it was enough to entretain you as I sing
for this monster that keeps coming with no clear reason for being
act as muses tho uncanny ones who tried to flee from therapy

so close your eyes and clean your throat
and watch the people come and go
just round and round to places
they no longer have to stay
they want to go out without slamming the door
and arrive in a shelter they all'v been before
